This festival is a collaborative effort of the Southeast Georgian Bay Chamber of Commerce, the Baxter Snow Riders and the Baxter ATV Trail Riders.
The Beginning:
The Just Add Water Festival was launched in 2011, to celebrate the southeast Georgian Bay region and its pristine waters - its many lakes, rivers, wetlands and, of course, Georgian Bay and the Trent Severn Waterway.
The festival saw about 5000 visitors over the course of the three days and, thanks to all who attended the fantastic main-stage concert, the Just Add Water Festival was able to present a nice cheque to "Radio for Radiology" at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. Pictured above, is the cheque presentation by Paul Herriott, Concert Chair, and some of the volunteers. |
